What can I say, I love food, especially bread with fancy names...ed

Romancing the Scone…

What can I say, I love bread, J

Chock full of carbs, may make me eventually dead, L

But bread I do love, will keep eating it, just as I said…J

No matter the type, the rye, wheat, or the scone,

Never am I when I eat the bread ever alone,

Rufuz has his eyes on me, as I do herein moan,

With the delights of eating that which I love,

This bread, any type, no matter, fits me like a glove…J

With butter, or jelly, or melted cheese or a hot dog,

Bread makes a great meal, with whatever its mated,

Just have to keep an eye out for the green, check when it’s dated,

A scone when I am happy, when I am high or when I am home,

A scone or just any old type of bread, while talking on the phone…J

Wait! Stop! be careful checking that 'green BREAD'.. if it has a president's face on it, you might want to wrap it up and send it to me! (grin) You know something, Eddie M? As much as I loved this poem, and I surely did, I'm especially beaming about that title: it's damned cute! Clever! Who could resist that title, I ask you? Very cool. katy xox.

The Wholly Book of Genesis by Jay Dubya

The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
