Up again at 330am,
To write something I cannot get out of my head,
So its up and out of my bed,
I sometimes wonder,
If my mind will keep working,
Even after I am dead...?

“SETTLING”

As I get older I find,

My long hair seems to fall into my mind,

My face it does seem to slide into my neck,

Making my neck even wider, oh what the heck…

From there on down, my “boobs”, once called pecks,

They do seem to slide down into my tummy,

Making me look more like a pregnant mummy,

Also making it hard to see,

My private parts but only just for me, fortunately…

What isn’t staying in my tummy, slides on down into my thighs,

This must be, in fact where the term thunder thighs does come,

My legs have always been my best feature,

Thin and strong, powerful for a human creature,

Now I am afraid they are there just to barely hold me up…

All these things, and sometimes more I don’t know,

Seem to slide down and eventually end up to go,

Into my feet, they seem to be spreading out,

My shoes don’t fit on one, as it is fatter than the other,

Imagine going to the shoe store and asking for a triple D,

On the left and a normal width on the right,

They look at me as if I am not wrapped to tight…

So in the end everything that doesn’t fit elsewhere,

Is SETTLING into my feet,

I will soon wear the shoes of a clown, but I don’t care, that would be neat…

Well that's the bright side, about growing older.

Ed and his big plates of meat.
Don't frown
Be a good clown
When feeling down
Look down
At your plates of meat (feet)
And don't feel daft
Just bloody well laugh
Cos them plates
ain't gunna
fit in the bath..

Cheers for the laugh Ed...

That would be neat! The world truly does need more clowns - we never have enough laughter in this serious old world.

I sense a whole new career sprouting in your feet, Ed!!

Ahh...gravity gets you down. Very humerous. Sad it'll happen to everyone one day...but...that's the way it goes, I guess.
