Statement of Fact…

When we die, we do in fact reach our ends,

Sometimes we do die when diving with the bends,

Some people I have known have died.

Due to the fickle problems regarding fashion trends…

This road did end in the right place I do portend,

How many of those folks buried there do you think did ascend?

Personally I would think that most did go the other way, yes descend,

I guess it does not matter, as long as they all did at least transcend…

Don’t like do I to do anything that may be considered condescending,

For if I were, I would have to be arrested,

By the poetry police, yes apprehended,

I hope you have understood herein what I have penned,

I have to be quite honest and not in anyway pretend,

Sometimes even I do find it hard to, myself, comprehend…
