Welcome to Earth, make yourself comfy…

From far and away they do come,

From planets and asteroids and some,

To visit us here or to vacation it’s clear,

Some must unfortunately for food butcher a steer…

Some like our corn crops,

Circles they do design,

Really they do actually therein dine,

They seem to find our corn quite divine…

No, they are not here to take over,

They are vegetarians liking to snack on our clover,

Nothing do they want to do with rover,

They do however wish when they come,

Could we keep our dogs on a leash at the very least…?

They don’t mean to be seen,

Those that were taken are the chosen few,

Their biggest influx is around the time of Halloween,

Who on that night of ghouls and goblins would notice,

A four-foot tall creature in the off color of aquamarine…

Let us try to treat them with respect,

When their spaceship sometimes gets wrecked,

Offer them help; take them into your home,

Treat them as you would family that from afar has trekked…
