The Art of the Write…(for me)

We write,

Sometimes for what’s right,

Sometimes not, then through the night,

Till the early reaches of the sun do bring on light,

Sometimes what we write does bring on a fight,

We also sometimes do write of a given blight,

Most times we do write of our own plight,

Is that though what we are here to put in others sight,

I have written some things out of spite,

Therefore you can see how I would feel most contrite,

I try to be for the most part quite polite,

Hopefully what I have written has did for someone excite,

I do try not to an argument incite,

For how would I fight other than allowing Rufuz to bite,

Hope you did find this “poem” to be of some delight,

I am forever and always the clown with the upside down frown, despite…

good repetitive rhyme and psychological write ... i'm glad you don't keep Rufuz muzzled, he needs to get his teeth into something ;)

You always write what you feel, Ed; and that's truly what writing is all about. So, write on, or RUFUZ just might bite you!

Aw, Ed, I resemble that(those) remarks. Write something out of spite? Yes. I imagine that we all do that. Human nature, and you know what human nature is. Base to a fault, for the most part. Even us(me) who rant and rave about our(my) so-called moral agenda, I admit that we usually have hidden desires and dark secrets which push us to write our words. Not that it is a bad thing, these dark secrets, sometimes it takes the devil to show us the wrongs we are doing. Doing a bit of ramblling here, sorry, but you poem spoke to me.
