My kids a HORROR student…
Honor was never in his vocabulary,
He would in any class be the last,
Bringing up the rear he would do with no fear,
In point of fact it has always been fear he did lack…
No fear of his parents,
That should be quite ultimately apparent,
No fear of his teachers,
If he could he would tie them to the bleachers,
No fear has he of flunking out,
Only to the devil is he very devout…
Music he listens to in reverse,
Says he hears the devil therein curse,
He is not such a bad kid, just a bit perverse,
His future plans do include driving for the dead,
He wants me to buy him his first car, a hearse…

I have to say, EM, this is penned with great flair, grand flavor... somehow you managed to serve up a very true slice of life, while also being amusing and accessible on such a subject.
Then, there's Roger's limerick down there... not bad for on-the-spot with a bite!
You guys planning on takin' it on the road? (Check the brakes before you head out... hehehe).
I'm keeping this one for my files (ahem)... hmmmmmm... both of 'em! I can't help myself, EM, your piece here just hit me in all the right places. (grin) Good stuff! katy xox
God bless, Ed.
Sandie.
As a lad, I once owned a Hearse
As a babe magnet t'was the worst
So I traded it in
For a hippie sin bin
But you brought it back with your verse
Goodluck "Daddy"!!
