Why I live in a campground

Tis a good place, though the rules and regulations in the summer are a bit stringent, I basically just ignore them and they ignore me...

Poem Artwork

Why I live in a campground…

The furthest it is from the real world,

When I lived on the outside often I hurled,

Here though I can allow myself to relax,

My flags of discontent and malice I have unfurled…

One knows all who do surround,

Neighbors know schedules, their compassion abounds,

Broke, no money, nor food,

They come runnin’ giving money found,

On the outside from neighbors not a sound…

When I lived in an apartment,

I barely knew names of those next door,

Here it does not matter whether rich or poor,

Low on food, here they take you to the store,

Out there they would not say a good word,

Till you were dead and found on the floor…

Quiet here it stays,

Snow in winter does fall, it just lays,

Eventually just melting into the ground,

Why plow or shovel, nobody is basically around…

I think it must be cool living the way you do...less hardwork cleaning up for sure...and you got nature around you not only bricks...and gasoline fumes and everyday shit that goes with it!!
Enjoy my friend!!

Does the birds ever shit on your motorhome??

It aways look so "polished"!!

LOL!!

Low on food, here they take you to the store,

Sounds like a truly wonderful place, my friend - and I hope you continue to enjoy it, and your neighbors, for a very long time.
