Poem Artwork

Wired…

Too wired to sleep,

Too wired to wash my Jeep,

Too wired to even weep,

Though out of me you won’t hear a peep…

Acquired through the mail,

Required is a scale,

Attired in bright white,

Inspired by its use…

So little as to be quite selfish,

Not made from a shellfish,

Surprisingly got my wish,

Best if kept in a Petri dish…

Can’t sleep, not tired,

Back to saying I am thoroughly wired,

Still will get today a great deal done,

Hey its 7am and I can see the first rays of the sun…

Yikes! EM... You're awake at 7 am? That's MY time of the day. Shall we have coffee and try to unwire you?

Know why you're good? You write from the gut! You rhyme from that dreamer lurking around in you. Wanna argue about that? (grin) katy xox

The Wholly Book of Genesis by Jay Dubya

The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
