Poem Artwork

My thigh still aches,

With heat it alleviates,

Maybe if in the oven I do it bake,

No longer would it throb,

From having a happy life it would not rob…

I can sit all day without sensation,

But walking brings on a great deal of frustration,

A pulled muscle is all it is,

Though to cut it off has been my temptation…

Fortunately as of yet it is not too cold,

Would bother me more if within grew the mold,

My youth I cannot seem to keep a grasp on,

If this is what age does bring, then I don’t want to get old…
