Am I the master of this house?

Or is Rufuz the boss, I, therein, don’t grouse,

If I did I would get a paw upside my head,

Then Rufuz would not allow me the use of my bed…

Is he my pet or am I his?

He runs the place,

Tells me when he wants to eat,

Lets me though turn up the heat…

He is my daddy, but I am the main DOG,

He may sometimes seem as if he is writing in a fog,

His brain as muddy and stinky as that of a bog,

He knows I am the bestest puppy in the whole world,

To that world he does his mostest to proclaim and herald…

 

We are two pea’s in a pod,

Two babies from the same mom,

He may seem to some to be just an old sod,

But I love him the most, to me he is my god…
