Poem Artwork

Everything grows,

Children want to be older,

Each year they count and act bolder,

Getting older our lot, I suppose…J

Grass does grow, to be cut,

Trees do blossom each spring, but,

When winter comes they do lose,

Their beauty, their leaves, their lives if they are down cut…

This old guy writes while growing outwardly,

Belly up to the bar boys, I now understand,

Each day it seems that I do more expand,

Geez, ya don’t think I will one day explode,

Bet then I would look most assuredly absurdly…J

We gain and we lose...we yo-yo
Relight the fuse
We make assumptions for our growth
Then live each day until we croak.

You inspired this just then Ed. As always you make me smile.
Susan
