Daddy does leave the radio on,

When out he goes to work,

I listen to a local rock n’ roll station,

As far as I am concerned, it’s the best in the nation…

They play lots of Elvis,

But when I shake I got to piss, (sorry ladies)

Daddy says I am the best at the twist,

But I don’t much like Mr. Berry, he is not on my list…

I feel much better throughout the day,

When the radio is left on, that’s what I say,

Some day’s daddy does the radio forget,

But even in that case I wait patiently,

For as you already may know, I am daddy’s loyal pet…J

He sure does look 'all shook up'.
I could imagine that while you were down with the flu recently that he whined lyrically, 'Don't cry daddy' And your reply: 'You aint nothin' but a hound dog!'

Regards
Dai

Elvis is very cool, but try a little C&W too, Rufie Boy - they have lots of songs with dogs in them!
