Spat from the sea,

Onto the beach that’s me,

Didn’t fit in, ain’t it a sin,

Gave me legs, cut off me fin…

Beached is this swimmer of myriad seas,

Blessed to be supposedly better than thee,

But could not take that responsibility,

I was then banished by royal decree…

Then they up and sank into the Atlantic,

Leaving me no note in a bottle,

Guess they meant it when they said I was not to be coddled,

Here now I live in this tube surrounded by air,

Sometimes I think it quite unfair,

But I do live and Atlantis did drown, oh well…so there…

Atlanteans with a boat went to Mythical Thule, their king welcomed the survivors.
Sink or swim doesn't applied there.

The Wholly Book of Genesis by Jay Dubya

The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
