Poem Artwork

I live nearer the ground,

I am afterall a hound,

For comfort I lay in the grass,

I feel the bugs crawling on my ***…

Some call me a hairy old mutt,

Not my dad though he is just a nut,

I slobber when I drink water,

Lapping it over the bowls border…

I speak to my dad but he doesn’t understand,

I love to nibble on his left hand,

He doesn’t like to walk me in the rain,

Though I never of it in any way complain…

Snacks I love, especially bacon,

I like my drinks lightly shaken,

007 I am not, so don’t be of me mistaken,

As a dog I am not fakin’…

Rufus....I love all of your poems. Do you think you could teach me how to pen a good poem. Please don't tell Mom or Dad, you know how they get.

Love....Onyx

Rufuz --- I think you and Phydoux should get together. He's into telling it like it is [and he gets to use the computer pretty frequently.]
