To pick it up or show me where it is, at my behest,

He can already walk himself, therein he is the best,

He was not always this way though I must confess…J

He came to us a bit rough round the edges,

Least ways he does listen to me before jumping any ledges,

He chases and plays with his dad,

And helps in a big way to keep me from being sad…J

So I guess I cannot expect him to do it all,

And sometimes as smart as he is he still does fall,

But we all make mistakes, we are all human,

Sometimes I just have to laugh at him till I ball…J
