Make him feel he is boss of the home,

Give him treats, a tongue on his nose,

Makes him feel superior, we know better,

He DOES NOT smell like a rose…

Treat him as you would like to be treated,

Even when he steps on you when you are seated,

Never allow the self to become conceited,

As well remember to stay out of reach,

As sometimes a human can feel cheated…

To be loved, one must give love in return,

Never, when you can get it, allow the self to love spurn,

If a fire does occur, do not allow your human to burn,

Therein of treats you will then permanently earn…J
