be humor, philosophy or religion or nonsense

Poem Artwork

September 9, 2009 will be that date,

Will it have some sort of significance,

As 999 inverted or turned upside down,

Is 666 perverted & churned inside up…

Is this philosophy, religion or just plain nonsense,

Standing am I on the middle of the fence,

Or will it actually be forgotten a year hence,

Surely I will forget it, I can be quite dense…

I expect it'll be about the same as it was on 6/06/2006: just another day. You sure got 'em thinking with this one Ed.

Be very careful, Bro. I hear that on 9/9/9, when we look at things upside down, or look in the mirror, we will see 6/6/6 everywhere! But I would have thought a Jersey Devil would declare that day, a Holiday!

PS Will you and Edvard, ever stop bickering??!!

Tell Rufuz to take you for a walk!

PS I read your comment on PeeWee's page, come a little near, say, about 800 yards from my scope?

Numbers are most amazaing to "play" with...but feel safe, as the 9 is meant to stay as-is, Ed, not turned upside down. Proof? 9+9+9=27, 2+7=9.

Nine is a composite number, its proper divisors being 1 and 3. It is 3 times 3 and hence the third square number. 9 is a Motzkin number. It is the first composite LUCKY NUMBER!
9 is the second non-unitary square prime (32). It has a unique aliquot sum 4 which is itself a square prime. 9 is the only square prime with an aliquot sum of the same form. The aliquot sequence of 9 has 5 members (9,4,3,1,0) this number being the second composite member of the 3-aliquot tree.
...maybe that's more than you wanted to know :o)
Blessings, Love...and count on...- Micke

I can see where your thoughts would wander in the direction of 666,
I mean that creature you were holding in your last poem, although I find it cute ....... Jasmin Horst

Ohh don't like to think of 666 Ed so we will keep it as 999. Now get to the beach with poor Rufuz. Bye Ed.

I was just thinking about 9/9/09. Great minds think alike! MUCH better than 666. That number gives me the creeps, glad THAT one's passed. Guess you're not taking Rufuz to the beach? He's gonna get you for that. LOL

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
