Not quite exact history...but who's to say I am wrong...e

Poem Artwork

Nero played his fiddle,

The populace peed & piddled,

Roman legions caught in the middle,

Left their posts, themselves they did twiddle…

Hair on their palms they might have grown,

If that were the case, I could not see my palms,

Read they did while waiting for the fire to go out, the book of psalms,

None it seemed did have any but a minor qualm…

When Rome was but a cinder,

Nothing left could be found as tinder,

Nero wouldn’t give up his violin,

Instead thumbs down he did give,

All the time taking shots of slow gin…

Oh Nero yeah....He used to love pouring Tar and pitch over the Christians, spiking them on poles and using them to light his garden parties! What a M....L Nothing good to say about him, but I'd would of liked to insert his fiddle up the rear portion of his anatomy. I think he was done in...I know he done his mother in... Mental case eh

See Ed, I told you Nero was a dude.... I may have to add this to his psych case studies.Excellent!

Marcus_Aurelius Preposterous, Emperor of Rome, brutalizer of barbarian scum.

ps. I have a vacancy for a centurion if you're up for it? Had to throw the last one to the wolves for bursting his incontinence pants at a charity orgy.

If our world starts burning, I think I'll skip the fiddle, and just drink those shots of gin.

Excellent, Ed. A quote I often use came to mind - those that forget history are condemned to repeat it: hopefully, this won't be the case. Well done.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
