Born and raised,

In the Garden state,

Part fish, loving mother ocean,

I also walk while I talk regularly to her,

To live here till I die would not be such a terrible fate…

Granted NJ is not much, anymore, of a garden,

But it is still my home, my place of residence,

I know her quite well, almost one big city,

But if you knew her like I do,

You’d realize that there are place’s here that are still quite pretty…

I think I have lived here before,

In another life, always at my shore,

Maybe as an Indian, or maybe I landed here,

With Erickson of Viking fame,

This place is my heritage, so I do adamantly claim…
