Or maybe instead of his sleigh,

In NJ of late he’d better have a boat,

Though he won’t need his heavy coat,

The temps here are like mid 50’s plus,

Even though it is 2am, but an umbrella would be a must…

Its after 2 & my home has yet to be found,

Maybe a target I should have put on the roof,

A big red one with lights perfectly round,

Poor Ruffie went to sleep early expecting a visit,

He’s been of late losing his belief, & I had to give him proof…

So, please, Santa, even though its wet,

Stop by & show Rufuz you are real,

Thereby he won’t worry, nor will he fret,

Damn but he made me, as well, leave you out almost a full meal…
