If I don’t get a job soon, I’m goin’ home…

Poem Artwork

My little space ship is on the mend,

She’s circular so she has no end,

She’s bein’ repaired by a recommended saucer tech,

He has eyes in the back of his head and non-existent neck…

Back home on my planetoid, I drive a taxi,

Gotta keep it shiny, clean and waxy,

Where I am from we haven’t got acid rain,

It does though come up from the ground,

The size of baseballs with a resiliency unfound,

If you saw me driving you’d think I was upside down…

So I hope the new leader of this world,

Does bring about change, so I can to my world herald,

How great this place is & how good tasting is wood that’s burled,

Though it gives me gas till it slides out my right ear all curled…

No wonder you liked that old wooden boat; you wanna eat it, you earth visitor Jersey Devil, you!

PS Does that round funny lookin ship of yours float? Maybe we could crusie on down to the Keys in that. And it looks like it has plenty of room for all my critters, too.

Hey! Even better, does it submerge like a sub? Now that would be a very cool trip.
