Poem Artwork

So the dogs seem to of it like,

Of my rather pusillanimous scent,

To sit close with me wasn’t meant,

Unmanly to the point of being indecent…

Its not a Nature thing you understand,

It comes from not bathing or shaving,

Other than bathing, I really am most grand,

Though mostly you find me about life raving,

Liking to see others take the proverbial stand…

Had to be up at five to write this most true ,

Choking in my sleep, something I do rue,

To fight off the effects a slice of cheese & drink,

Is my in peculiar & “fragrantly” way brew,

Don’t say I never did tell anything to you…

Honey, honey, dogs are a mans best friend so they will stick by you no matter the smell and Ma raised you so she don't notice, Just cause I call you honey, honey, you could still have a bath. You put a smile on my face Ed. LOL.

Aside from the way it is writ, Ed, the one
good thing is that we always know when you
are around. And uh, yuk, it pleases us.

Your two old Ed Brothers, and Dear Old Ma, understand, quite well!!!
(Ma always said she could always find you, in the dark!!)

But if the dogs like it, why change now? Get a job with a local no kill shelter, sit outside in the dark, and help them round up all the poor homeless critters, and find them homes.
