If you got heat,
There you can of it keep...

Poem Artwork

Yes it’s a bit warm here too,

Just stayin’ in an air conditioned gloom,

Darkness seems to in here extend,

Into the day, though it keeps it cooler, just what I intend…

I hear its HOT, HOT, HOT in the south,

Just keep it there & speak of it with your mouth,

The place to be is at the beach,

The ocean is cooler & from the heat its out of reach…

So if you got, where you live, heat,

Getting out and lassoing it might be a feat,

But try your damndest to keep it there,

For we of the Northeast don’t of it need,

In the south is where it gets it seed…

Fear not. In a few more months we'll be bitchin' about the cold and snow.

I'd offer to send some Canadian, but we drank it all last night. This heat goes right to the top of James Bay!
