Had some papers, but,

Didn’t roll it too tight still,

Screw that damn job,

I wanna get a buzz,

Better than takin’ a pill…

Listening as well to Jimi,

Got it crankin’ as I write,

Givin’ the neighborhood a fright,

So with me, you too can take a hit,

Lets suck it in together, baby,

Now hold it in your lungs,

And let the smoke flow out your nose,

Damn but that’s some GOOD shit…

Remember the days,

Suckin’ in the suns rays,

Feels like an acid trip,

Its been so long since my last buzz,

Don’t worry ‘bout the fuzz,

We can make noise till eleven,

Of this weed I only bought a dime,

Surely was not a gyp,

This has been blue chip…

So come with me now into my high zone,

Our eyes reflect the computer screen,

After tokin’ this kickin’ bone,

We can float all the way home…

As the fabulous furry freak brothers were prone to say, Dope will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no dope. My heroes in 1973. Patrick

blimey... i'm fallin off me chair just readin this, Ed! We have Scots fir cones that we chuck onto our little pot-bellied bbq and they give off exactly the same aroma as good grass. Now I just get high on a beautiful scent without the need to burn-out me brain... think that happened long ago! You should try a trip to Venice... has much the same effect... xx

You should write a poem about that linked video - it's pretty powerful.
