Santa did miss me, AGAIN…

Poem Artwork

With no chimney to slide down,

Nor even a pipe to enter my home,

Not even enough room on the roof,

For many reindeer on the hoof,

Santa did miss me again, he could have used magic, poof…

Anyway I suspect he thinks I got too much as a kid,

I mean with him & my parents I was well off the grid,

Piled halfway up the Christmas tree,

Even if I was very naughty, mom to that for me would see…

Maybe someday a bunch of presents will be forthcoming,

Right now all I get is some cold weather a numbing,

But surprisingly I am not today, right now, blue,

As I was last year while in the hospital on this day,

So thank you God & Santa for allowing me to be alive today…

life is indeed the best gift of all ... as long as you can stand, see and get up it's a good day ... though pain can be a drag ...

Sweet thoughts, bro. You were spoiled as a kid. I was NOT. Not in worldly things but love of parents, yes. Love and best wishes,

Regis

Santa went right past Ed's house
It's not because he's a louse
Ed's been a bad boy
Been playin' with his toy
He's got to stop clicking on his mouse

Ed,

The greatest give of all is life and friendship. You've been given both. Merry Christmas my friend, and may the hospital bed never find you again.

Well, this isn't from Santa, but it is from the heart, Ed.

ED, there are some real great lines, but they don't tell all, you know that the redneck rascal is hiding out at Belle, or if he did come, and I wouldn't doubt he did, that your present an illegal substance, can't be left in a parcel by the door, or even under that rusty roof of yours. See if there are foot tracks in the snow, the ones from Santa, be different, then the gumshoes of the FBI, if you find both tracks, then don't bother looking no more,,,, but otherwise, you might find it when the easterbunny comes to visit, it'll probably be woven into a green basket with eggs in it, so many possibilities,,,,,,,,, Merry Christmas Bud!!!!!

ASTONISHING!!!--the white feather tree, that is! Tell me you didn't have that kind!
Hey, Ed, we're all so glad God answered many people's prayers who care about you. He always has a reason when He does that. That's why Jesus was born and went to the cross to pay our sin-debt. That's why He lives again, and we can still say, "Happy Birthday, Jesus" and know He hears us. He has a purpose for our lives, and once in a while we come close to death, and we understand better that we are here to live for Him.
Merry Christmas, Ed, and God bless you always!

Santa misses me every year but that's ok because Christmas isn't about the gifts it's about the love shared between family and friends. Spending the holidays in the hospital is very difficult and I'm so very glad you are home this year in your own comfy bed. May peace, health, and happiness fill your home always! Blessings, Chessly

Ed,

I guess he passed by my house too. I count my blessings, i am also alive. I went by ambulance to the ER last night with severe palpations. They said too much STRESS. I have to see a heart doc and see what meds he can give me. They doc said it wasn't dangerous but its scary. Say a prayer for me.

Many Blessings,
Linda
