Took me brudders advice for a change...e

Poem Artwork

I took my brothers advice,

Went out in the snow & sat,

Made an indentation kinda fat,

So many paw prints out there,

Mostly from the local feral cat…

Now my but is numb,

It ain’t got no feelin’,

Can’t get my brain to work,

You don’t suppose from the cold its reelin’…

So when’s the next snowfall,

To ole’ Mom Nature I do call,

From which direction will the next storm over us stall,

Hopefully instead we get into the season first for baseball...…

I remember the weather back there. I think you still have to worry about March dropping a few more inches.

Most folks still keep their brains in their head,

But dear old Ma says: "Not our Jersey Devil Ed!"

But she's says very good for you, though,

Since you have written your 'Ode to Snow.'

PS: Now feed that cat.
