She gives birth,
While soaring above,
The sands of the shore,
Her offspring flies to the sand…
She drifts above momentarily,
Seeing that the young does arrive,
She knows for now it is a battle,
Just for the first weeks to survive…
Fear in her progenies call,
But he must learn the way of the sand,
As he did when out of the sky he did fall,
Burrows in the sand, till he does of maturity grow,
Lives there even when the ocean does above over-flow…

Bombs away egg laying?
Wow, this sure reminded me of Brother Edvard's tale, the day he brought you home to Ma. He always said he found you with your head sticking out of the sand!
Bombs away egg laying?
I think you got the animal planet show confused with Newton's apple. Gravity is not kind to an egg unless.....unless.....it's part of Sarah Palin's new cooking show, omelets on the fly with a side dish of pork lips. Patrick
