Why does the propane always run out in the middle of the night?

Poem Artwork

Ain’t it always the way,

I don’t need heat in the day,

But come night the temps plummet,

That’s when the propane runs out,

On that you can surely bet…J

I awaken to a cold abode,

Freezing off my toes,

This does not for a hot shower well bode,

Let alone the thought of sitting down on a chilly commode…J

Sometimes I can guess when the tank will run out,

Then again I forget half the time with out a doubt,

So as I carefully crawl from my heat blanketed bed,

I pinch myself to make sure I am not frozen dead…J

When it's cold in the house, I can skip the shower for a day, but can't get by a whole day without using the commode. Brings back thoughts of the days when we used the old 2 holer.... Yuk, I hate those memories. Dick

You better watch the latest Terminator movie - even the propane machines are now in on the plot to wipe us out and take over the world.

Your propane probably runs out because it has a hot date. Better check your kitchen. I think your refrigerator is running right now.
