I used to eat them a lot,
Then one day they helped me to get fat,
My sugar did then as well raise,
I always thought of myself as one who did graze…
No longer now can I of them eat,
Glad I was not addicted to their taste,
Better really to keep being a carnivore,
And just partake of all kinds of meat…
So we bid a fond fare the well to Twinkies,
As we go off in another direction playing with our slinky’s,
No longer can we with the cream get kinky,
For in future that cream will really go bad and get stinky…J

I was never a big Twinky fan, but sweets--? Oh, my.
I recently made the mistake of buying Kraft caramels to see if they were are good as I remembered. On the way to the dentist now. . .
That's a joke, but I ate way too many way too fast. Ray [hubby] is the type can stop at two or three. Grrrrrr.

Tasty little morsels, but never hooked on them...
They seem to be the topic in news and media now...
I'm sure other tasty little treats will replace the
memory of them...but Ho Ho's Zingers Ding Dong's and Suzy Q's are also
hard to find...
I think what's most disturbing more than the loss of these
little tasty treats is over 18,500 people are going to be laid off
as Hostess closes down plants... Now that's disturbing...
