I know I haven’t been exactly nice,

Then neither have I been exactly naughty,

But in between each is a gray area,

I think that’s where I been this year,

At least as far as I am concerned, at least twice…

I am asking for something kind of small,

Not even so big as I am tall,

Something that may or may not be within your power,

Please don’t look at me in that tone of voice & glower…

Please Dear Santa, if you could only give me back my health,

I am not asking to win the lottery or gain any wealth,

Though that would certainly to be quite nice,

But if you could just help me out here,

I would be forever in your debt,

And that is something you can take the bank, a bet…J
