Where this came from I haven't a clue... Do you...?

My task done, My song sung, A head, his trophy, His name was Sophie… His battle fought, A scar sought, His allegiance bought, He lived for naught, Never was he caught… Out of the past, He came at last, His fortune amassed, Of me he has harassed… Power he desires, His distant kin, Burned in fires, Never will he expire… Born of a higher caste, In the fires of a furnace blast, His kingdom in mind, Is far and above vast, Me he has maligned, You get thee behind, Only I can of him be kind… © me – 7/7/14

I once dreamed that a male friend was actually a female. He wasn't, of course, but it did turn out that he wasn't the person I thought he was. I took my dream as awareness awakening.
