To Delaware I went today,
For a fun drive to see Rene,
All around Dover we did drive & shop,
She kept pointing out every farmers crop…
We went to Dover Downs, a casino where I kind of lost,
She on the other hand did make 42 plus bucks,
And five dollars was her only cost,
As usual in a row she did line her ducks…
Then we went on a short ride for ice cream sundaes,
Both got the same, butterscotch; twas a fun day,
For dinner, I had a cheesesteak, they charged for extra cheese,
And didn’t even put any regular cheese on in the first place, oh geez,
But when all is said and done, the day was quite fun,
Anytime I can be with Rene because she is my love bun…
Yes, sirree-Bob, er, Ed, without René, I think by now, you would be a little bit of nothing with butterscotch on it.
