Merry Christmas to all & to all a good beach hike...
The conch shells lined up in rows,
On the boardwalk light poles with bows,
The beach all decked out in a perfect white,
A Christmas tree completes the picture, what a perfect sight…
The gulls all snug in their nests,
The wind blowing cold in from the northwest,
All in preparation for Santa as a guest,
Parents & kids alike did not on the eve get much rest…
I can feel the cold wind off the waves already, but if you're used to it, I'm sure it can be very pleasant. Would much rather walk the beach in southern climes this time of year.
