The old grouch...

Merry Christmas to all,
I hope you get plastered tonight...

Poem Artwork

It is the day before Christmas,
And all through the house,
The only creature stirring,
Was the old fart grouch…

His stockings were rolled up in his drawer,
No tree had he as he found them a bore,
Santa scribbled him off his list many a year before,
Because as he was Santa, he knew well the score…

The old grouch did that night start his depression early,
He wouldn’t talk to visitors & treated them all quite surly,
Only rain have we gotten for Christmas so far, not even of snow a flurry,
Each year this happens, he knows it most surely.

Hey, you Old Grouch--MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
LuvYA--Bobbie & Scott
P.S. I saw a snowflake last Friday--landed on my windshield for about half a second or less; but that was it. Now it's rain, rain, rain, and more rain, rain, rain. Find your umbrella!! Bobbie

I can see you are of good cheer. I do need some plastering, so I think I will hire you to get my walls plastered, too. And probably if I give you a few good, highly spiked hot toddies to tide you over, you'll be a jolly saint while you're doing it.

Since I can't hire immigrants, maybe I can get you to decorate the tree. Which ornament do you want to be? Scrooge? The Grinch? Santa? Jersey Devil?

Christmas should come once every 5 years, and that's probably more often than it should.
Merry Christmas anyways.
