Republic day Parade 2022 at the capital of India Delhi
Today is India 72nd Republic day.We have a holiday in India to celebrate the day.

I Love  my  Land,  I call  it India, Bharat

I Love her soul - the power of her people

  chorus

See her spread of mountains , hills and valleys

See the sun shining on her fields

 

i love my land , i call iher  india Bharat

Love the depths of  her  rivers flowing wider 

 love  the way she inches her  large tribe forward

 

i love my land ,,,,chorus

 

Proud  to flaunt the culture of our land

 Proud to see  her  people scaling   heights!!!

 proud  of every  life  sacrificed for our liand

This is a nice tribute to India. I recently read a book that takes place in India in 1920 and before, when it was ruled by the firm hand of Great Britain. The country has made a lot of progress since then. You are a good cheerleader for it.

It has be written, at least 30 years ago, that India would skip the Industrial Revolution and leap from being a Third World nation into the First. In many ways, India already has with its dominance in computer technology and the Internet. Revolution in farming and initiative to go solar and wind over coal.

Here in America, Indian immigrants have risen to the highest ranks of all the professions, including CEOs of several international corporations. Including the vice president. Kudos to the Indian culture, tolerant of many religions working together and celebrating together. With no belligerent territorial claims over neighbors, but watchful of their inroads at the borders.

Unfortunately the grand parade on the Independence Day from England, shows a pal in the air. Air pollution that affects every citizen who has to breathe it every day.

Lovely tribute piece of writing. That first stanza, the line: “Love the way it inches a large tribe forward.” The language of that is grande. Those introductory words for each line are stellar: “Love, See, Proud.” Carries respect and gratitude. Great conveyance of value, “….her soul….her people.” ~~ djl

are similar to our Rose Bowl Parade. Glad you are back.
