Life in ocean

Poem Artwork

 Jelly fish jelly fish

beauty model in sea

Marching on  tenntacles

 cat walk  in  sea

 feathered white umbrella head bow

Slender its  form,whiskers  drift on

Taking on the challenge

 Swimmers  at sea  move

Indeed  a test  in the wild

Ones  who  pass win the race

Braving bubbling jelly fish and what not ,

See the sea stretching  wide upfront

See the glaze of sparkling waters surging, swirling

Echoing ears, murmuring sea

Gushing, galloping like huge horses, its waves, the mane

In it, its creatures thrive

At shore  in slow motion the waters curl, frill  on   land

Sand white grains shining

White foam on silver shine  inviting

Eyes watch, feet feel

The spirit of water

  all consuming is its power

 water power!, flows within u

outside u

like they say in Avatar

into the oceans,its pour

beyond the earth

in the sea

what of gravity

maximizes, ha!!!

 alive, the sea, buzzing  beneath

its  energy big, powerless is man, in its vastness

He cannot fathom the waters where ever

Its currents, its swirls, its winds pushing

unpredictable  moves

 tame it, learn of it

breathe  out into it

take in air from  open

that is the way to go, they say,

Do not allow it to harm you

Being conscious in  it

is the key,they say

Nature, most powerful her force!

swimmers be  in God’s  safe clasp we pray!

So glad you were able to experience the sea by swimming in it and gathering up all these nuances for your poem. Congrats on learning to swim at your age!

I received my Boy Scout merit badges at 16 for both swimming and lifesaving by merely "swimming short distances," until I took a college course in swimming at 18 and learn how to relax and do it properly so that I could swim for hours even if my skinny body couldn't float.

That knowledge allowed me to continue swimming after losing my arms and hands. My legs were still powerful and they powered me swimming both on the surface and underwater very well up to as much as two minutes without any effort to breathe. Just like in this water version of Avatar.
