They are amazing creatures! I had the privilege of seeing them in California's Gulf of the Farallones near San Francisco Bay. This is the season now for the Humpback, you made me wish I was out there whale watching again;-) Beutiful Suzie! Thanks for sharing...eileen

"Of safely swimming her rhyme" What a line! The sonar and motion of Humpback Magic is the motion of the pectoral fin raising and lowering, broadcasting identity of freedom captured frame after frame by Steve Irwin. This poem teaches how our sensory systems detect movement and sound, highly evolved and attuned to our environment in so that neither species is driven to extinction.
