Santa Drives a Pick-up Truck

Well yesterday was my first official day as Santa Fee at the local Mall. I love my work and love hearing the things that the children so innocently say. I keep a small voice recorder with me to remind myself of these things so they can be added to my journal later and while using it during a lull a little girl walking by loudly proclaimed and started singing..."Santa has a cell phone, Santa has a cell phone."
Three hours can be a long time without a break when you have over a hundred kids up and down on your lap so I sneak in a coffee sipped through a straw and sure get looks on that if I get caught (no Flask though) and when you have full white beard and walk down the mall after the day is over and out to your truck...yea sometimes children recognize me...enjoy my day...

Santa has a cell phone

I saw him hold it to his ear

I saw Santa speed dial a number

Must be North Pole crystal clear

Santa has a cell phone

But I wonder if he has a twin

For it wasn’t Mrs. Claus he asked

To meet him at the Do Drop Inn

 

 

Santa drinks designer coffee

Saw him sipping through a straw

I thought he had to drink milk

Isn’t that some kind of law

Santa drinks designer coffee

With special milk from a flask

But if you get too curious

He’ll tell you: “Kid don’t ask”

 

Santa wears Levi blue jeans

Seen him walking out the door

I guess when he’s off duty

It doesn’t matter any more

Santa wears Levi blue jeans

And a pair of cowboy boots

I think Santa is a cowboy

Who’s getting back to his roots

 

Santa drives a pickup truck

It’s bright yellow and it’s hot

I saw Santa drives his pickup truck

I guess poor Rudolph he forgot

Poor Santa is a Ford man

and I thought he had class

because Daddy says a Ford man

Must be real dumb(ass)…

LOL.. My older son used to tell everyone Santa worked for Patterson (comapany my husband worked for)

Who cares what santa drinks, what the hell,
At lease he didn't off his chair fell,
I'd have to have a tube/straw attached to my, well,
As sitting for three hours, with my pee I could hit & ring a bell...ed
