Imagination: It's fun to imagine and it can help us to dream bigger dreams and have higher hopes for the future!

Tree Imagination

If I were a tree, what kind would I want to be?

I would not want to be just an ordinary tree.

I would like to be a tree that could see.

A tree that could see scenery, that’s what I would want to be.

Yes, and I would want to be a tree that could taste, talk and smell.

Then I could tell stories about happened around me and what seasons will be.

Yes and the ultimate would be to grow to be a big beautiful talking Aspen Tree.

Then I would live long enough and tell tall tales about our history.

 Yes, if I were a tree - that is what I would truly hope to be.

Now it’s your turn…

Imagine if you were a tree - what kind of tree would you want to be?

I think I'd want to be a west coast cedar tree because of its many uses. I like being a servant.

I would be a weeping willow tree. I would shed my tears for those in pain, so they would not have to feel their pain. Also I would be a play house for children to feel safe...I wrote a poem entitled
Meet me Under the Willow Tree...you should read it, it's quite sensitive.

very cool...I would like to be a tree that is turned into paper and made into a book so that I would come back to life again.

Lovely interactive poem John!
I would want to be one that has birds all over the branches, so I could hear them sing. And I'd want to hear the wind rustle, so I'd need lots of leaves. Hmm...maybe a red maple.
