Bathroom Secrets

It's a place we all go to several times a day. But what goes on behind closed doors, it's really hard to say.

Poem Artwork

We all go behind closed doors

Folks used to use the woods, but not no more!

It’s a secret as to what really goes on

In that place call the Outhouse, the Lou, the Jon

Some comb hair, put on make-up, powder the nose

Others read magazines as time ticks on and goes

Some just go to sit, think and dwell

Others stay much longer and chat on their cell

But pity the poor folks that wait outside

They come to do business, and that’s no lie!

Some sit and ponder and take their sweet time

While the line gets longer and kids cry and whine

Finally, someone gets out, and they take their place

It's now their turn to rush

or continue at a snail’s pace...

Having had three older brothers, I now feel kinda bad that I took those long bubble baths every morning. Of course, they had "pay back" coming! LOL!

Love ya!

You did a nice job on this toilet humor, some bring magazines a mile long, some piddle and hum, some like my brother, install a musical toilet that pays music when you sit, lol, true story, my dad was so angry at him, he was one of those kids, lets' leave it at that.
Have a great day, hugs

What a wonderful uplifting discussion for a poem. ;-)

In all my years I never saw any reason to go into that room except to get the business over with and get the hell out of the smelly place! The woods was a much better place, especially for a quick leak. Do bears cover their scat like cats? Why should humans have to? Preserve the wilderness?

Last night, while doing my scheduled business, I had two lovely ladies in the room with me helping me do both #1 and #2. That done, one of the lovely ladies swung me into the bath and gently scrubbed me all over. I think I'm returning to my infancy. ;-)

Hey, I still use the woods, or sometimes behind our storage barn if the bathroom is occupied. It's rough being the only male in the house.
