To work out our salvation, with trembling and fear,
means mostly, that we rest not on what we think we know
but rather each and every day to His awesome word we go
In order that his will for us, we seek, and know what He holds dear
To sit in complacency, and on Sunday's sevice to rely, for our growth and maturity
is giving Him little, and leaves us in a very dangerous place
He wants you to know Him, as a friend, and live in His grace
He calls, us to assemble, but the bottom line is: His, Word in your heart, that's your, surety
He quickens us with what we have taken in, we cannot count on knowing, just one or two
For, how can He guide you, if His thruth you do not know?
He wants you to thirst for it, It's treasures, He will to you, show
Up close and personally, rooted in your mind, to remind you of who you are, and what you are to do
Then when the fire of the battle tween His way verses self,
is raging in, you, like a scythe upon the grain, cutting, burning, hot and keen
You'll know the truth, and not get burned by the outright lie, or the subltle, roads to death, in the inbetween
So, Keep that Bible with you , not in some drawer or on some shelf
Seek Him as an ally, hunger for His Word, make Him your very best friend,
read his word and study it, and with it's truth, and power, He will fill you up
He wants, you to become like Him, He wants to fill your cup
To stand on the truth, with Jesus as your guide, so in truth you are grounded, never willing to bend.
The churches of the day, allow assimilation, are filled with the devil's disease
complency, and half truths, changing His word to suit the evil of the day
promoting easy believism, allowing homo-sexual priests to show you the way
Things that He abhors, things that mock His Word, as they seek a life of ease.
If His voice you know, and understand that Jesus is, the living Word
read and study It, then gather together with those that agree,
That the truth is not open, to change, not one iota or degree
Seek a church, that on It will stand, these are the things, that will keep you, Holy and assured.
