Who's this sleeping in the manger?
Who's this lying in the hay?
Who's this precious little stranger
Who has stolen my heart away?
He must be the dear Redeemer!
I've heard tell He's heaven's King
It's been promised thru' the ages
Good News for the world He'll bring
"He's the Savior" sang the Sparrow
"Tiny King" the big Ox said
"He's the Christ Child" brayed the Donkey
"Royalty in a manger-bed!"
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
