The rain has stopped now
but the Maple leaves still cry
drop by drop,
falling
In My, As I...
see drops slowly dry

The Cracker cattle in a distance
from a farm life near by
fulling for hay,
mooing, 
"We’re so hungry tonight!"

The sun is now setting
behind a big, Little Gem tree
Weather of winter, casts grey yellow sheens

and the littlest gnats
I wonder,
Why they still bite me?"

Red Cypress and Sables
droop in the wet
Inhaling their sweetness
their aromas I get

In My, As I...

breathe, drawing in every breath

Azaleas in bloom
drink up this shower
pink and red ruffles
caroms off the flowers

I sit, stilling,
under dark dripping bowers

The Sagos, they glisten
in a dark green, blue green
The Sweet Gum are swaying
among the tallest Pine trees

In My, As I...

asking, Will you sit here with me?

Allamandas of yellow
in their seasonal change
Contrast in corals
each Hibiscus in wane

peacefully in awe,
loss of all bane

O’ Holly berries of red
shine bright in your burst
damp dusk of night,
in wanting of no thirst
Down south in a sauna

In My, As I...

love my,
raining down on,
Tropical Fauna
