Thank you Jesus......

Lakes and rivers so calm, serene,
allowing the mind to wander afar.
Sky and sea joining hands,
reaching further than any known star.

Thank you Jesus.....

Bushes, trees, grass and flowers,
sway ever so gently in the morning breeze.
A cornucopia of scents and colors,
slowly alluring as if to tease.

Thank you Jesus.....

Stillness is blanketing mother earth,
all making ready for that day of days.
Angels above are spreading their wings,
as they prepare behind clouds of haze.

Thank you Jesus.....

Rabbits and squirrels, bears and birds,
rubbing their eyes, wings stretched wide.
Spring is unfolding, a chance of renewal,
they know what is coming deep down inside.

Thank you Jesus.....

Each in their own way, in their own time,
all make ready to feast upon the sky.
Jesus died and was buried for mankind's sin,
taking his rightful place, he now will fly.

Thank you Jesus.....

God, Jesus, bless you for your sacrifice,
through the centuries remaining steadfast.
One single solitary man,
changed our future, as well as our past.

Thank you Jesus.....

Today we celebrate Passover and Easter,
but many others celebrate in their own way.
Just the mere fact we all still remember,
offers a multitude, what more can I say?

Thank you Jesus.....

Father and Son, a kingdom will reign,
throughout eternity he will take his place.
Offering compassion, forgiveness, solace,
to forever protect with dignity and grace.

Thank you Jesus, my soul is yours.....
