I looked at the rain
and thought
whats a little more
so what if the creeks flood
so what if it ruins plants
look at the reverse
it helps more than it hurts

Besides, i'm standing on my porch
in my sweatsuit, with a fever
and a crutch for my infected leg
catching raindrops with my tongue

I hope my neighbors don't see
But what the heck they know me
I'm bored with everything
and tired of pain
so i play with the rain

It's getting dark
I'd better go in and have some
tea and tylenol...what fun;-)
Want to join me...heehee

" I'm singing in the rain....oh what a wonderful feeling...I'm happy again "...
The secret to overcoming adversity and pain is to have a childlike confidence in the Most High..
I'll pray for your restoration to full health and vigour !
Excellent graphic emphasises the mood of the poem...:)

Wouldn't mind sitting down and having a cup of (coffee) with ya, Eileen, but you can keep all that pain. That is unless you allow me to share a few of my own. Cute poem, I really liked the whimsical nature of it.

I love your positive side eT. Rain is healing and YES!! A few drops on your tongue brings out the child in you and is healing. Hope you are feeling better.

Eileen,

You and I on the same page; can't do anything about the weather, so learn to live and play in it. :) I flew in the towering cumulonimbus immediately to our south...a rabbit and old crone kept me company. :)

An excellent write, and yes, I'll join you for tea and Tylenol. :)

(((HUGS))), love and continued prayers, Karla.

(Hope you feel better soon)

Eileen,

Hope you feel better soon; but glad you aren't letting your problems get you down as you enjoy the rain. Good for you! Very well done!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :)
