A fine ode indeed. I came upon a red fox once and almost walked on it as it moved away only at the very last moment hoping I would not spot it. Nicely done, Belle. Love and best wishes to you,
I have a fox that lives somewhere around my cabin I see it occasionally, only in fleeting glimpses, magnificent.
Although I think you are a fox as well as an excellent poet.
A powerful metaphor Belle. Stealth rules the lives of many while love searches for truth honesty and openness. We know that in the end the fox becomes the victim when they outsmart themselves and suffer the immense consequences. Another creative poem beautifully wrapped with lore.

I can clearly see the resemblance. I know you can hear me coming a mile away. That's why I will never see you.
