I swear I'm gonna kill her She's making me lose my mind Since she's come into my life No rest, no peace can I find I swear I'm gonna kill her She woke me again last night I wish she'd leave me alone But no, I am forced to write I swear I'm gonna kill her I must write in perfect rhyme If I don't do as she says I'm charged with poetic crimes I swear I'm gonna kill her She swats my hands with the pen If she doesn't like my words She makes me write them again I swear I'm gonna kill her I'm about to go insane WILL SOMEONE PLEASE RESCUE ME She's getting to be a pain I swear I'm gonna kill her You'll see my name on the news "POET CHARGED WITH MURDER ONE" All because I killed my Muse (C) Copy written, 13 October, 2004, by Karla Dorman.
