Poem Artwork

You kissed me with the
sun and stroked my skin with its heat,
setting me on fire.
My nipples your mouthful of sky;
we watched the moon rise
from the valley between your legs
and set in mine ... we
watched the thunder and heard lightning
as they changed places;
that was such a long time ago.
I awakened in
a lonely bed, remembering
when times were better ...
you came to me, tonight, in dreams.

That is one hot dream, Karla, you gave me a hot flash just reading it. There are those who touch us in such a special way that we never seem to be able to get them out from under our skin. Wonderful writing.
Take care,

i really liked this one, how you told it with slow honey sweetness, ending it with the sharp taste of regret and melancholy.
