Wasn't gonna get suckED in, wasn't gonna get suckED in, but TigerLilyED's poem, "Farewell, Heartless EDs" pullED me in: couldn't resist. Entire poem came together in four minutes: the winds work fast. LOL (Thanks for the inspiration.)

And after all this mess, I'm gonna NEED a hurricane LOL (ow, me achin' hEaD --)

Poem Artwork

That's it:  I'm so confusED
with all of the EDs runnin' 'round --
Tall ones; short ones; thin, fat,
old ones, young:  all of the sounds

of war driving me mad.
Need a storm to clear the air,
to ease the pain in hEaD:
tell me why you should be sparED,

from the Cat 5 storm I'm
preparing to sEnD your way:
start talking.  Hurricane
Karla will strike Saturday.

(c) 2007, Karla Dorman.  (9/4)

FTR:  There was a hurricane Carla, a Cat 5 on the Saffir-Simpson scale, in 1961.  Her name was retired, due to the damage she caused.

Note, though, that Hurricane KARLA is gathering strength...

May hurricane Karla wash that island clean of those battling EDs so we can all relax and get some beach time in (after the storm)!

Couldn't resist. could ya? Glad we've all received advance notice of the impending hurricane.
I can fight the dasterdly Eds but Mother Nature --- think I'll go back to Edspana.
Cooking and cleaning doesn't sound to bad - back to humdrum Edwina, The Eldest.

PS- a comment on Walt's review about hateful emails "Some people's children ..."

The speed and interest with which everyone picked up on Mr Ed's pirate tales is a good indicator of how much we all were enjoying it. It also shows how much we love humor and Mr. Ed gave us lots of that. Now, let's see what that hurricane KARLA has in store.

Karla,

It seems there was a lot of pooping on the pirate saga's by some people who didn't believe in fun. Like nasty hateful e-mails to one of the participants...seriously. Really got me goat that we can't have fun without someone taking offense. So for now the war has gone underground, spoken of only with fond mammarys of chocolate covered nibbins.

LOL

Hurrricane Karla--yeah, that's yew, all over! :O LOL

Clever take on the Ed/Pirate Tales; maybe you can bring some semblence of order to the island (but somehow I doubt that; hurricanes are not known for being neat OR nice! LOL)! Very well done; brava!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin, Hurricane Karen. :D

Saving it!

Glad I got here first!

1) You are an animal lover, too. And although I'm only Pee Wee Noah Ed, God Himself, sided with the first Noah and his Ark. (Think of all these wondrous creatures I have on board.)

2) I didn't get a penny from that Million Dollar Villa Tiger Lily and Jersey Devil Ed sold out from under me on Capri.

3) They now use the ruse that they are building a Nunnery on Ed Island, when in reality, it's a Casino and Bingo Hall.

So could ya make that Hurricane arrive at Ed Island - say, in about a week? My Ark moves very slowly, and I gotta get these critters to safety.

Thanks,

Pee Wee Noah Ed
