This woke me up in the middle of the night. :) Yeah, yeah, stupid, I know. But it had to be written: so there. LOL

Poem Artwork

Thrown out of bed by knocking,
knocking at my bedroom door,
I find myself wondering

why I'm rolling on the floor -
what bold thief stole my slumber?
'twas his snoring, nothing more.

Ah! The tunes we fabricate in the privacy of our oun dreams! I have done more slumber-stealing than my wife I am afraid and you have aptly captured that weightless, disenfranchised feeling one gets when we bumble our way into semi-consciousness because of the roar. Thanks!
